Lynn Rutter

Lynn has master’s degrees in both Child Development and Environmental Education. Lynn operated a nature-based preschool and has taught children of many ages in elementary schools and environmental centers. She was also a program coordinator at the University of New Hampshire, where she organized events for scientists to share and communicate their work.

Engaging in community environmental initiatives is very important to Lynn. She is a member of the Rockport Conservation Commission and served as the board president of the Cooperative Extension. Lynn is a certified Master Gardener and Yardscaper. When settled into her new home, she looks forward to planting a yard full of native species and vegetables and spending time hiking, skiing and sailing. She is especially interested in contributing to community outreach to highlight and preserve the wonderful natural resources that exist in our area.
